"Enter The Zenmenn" by The Zenmenn is the latest release from Amsterdam's immaculately curated Music From Memory label. As per the programming cycle they've rolled out over recent years, this one isn't a reissue. It's a new release, a debut release even from a relatively anonymous new band named The Zenmenn.

Percussions' identity remains a mystery. There is speculation that its Hebden himself or that he's collaborating with someone..for now, we don't know. What we do know is that Bird Songs is a percussive, broken-beat techno jam with chirpy sound effects and deconstructed tribal rhythms that have Hebden's fingerprints all over them whilst Rabbit Songs is an unusual cross between buoyant dub techno and clattery sticks-and-stones percussion.
